Itinerary

Day 1 Barcelona

Barcelona, a charming coast city with unlimited culture, legendary architecture and a world-class gastronomic scene

  • Pick up at Barcelona airport and Check in
  • Welcome dinner and wine tasting near to Paseo de Gracia
  • Meeting with our gastronomy expert guide who will explain more details about forthcoming experience and Catalan culture
  • Hotel Casa Fuster 5* Grand luxury Barcelona

Day 2: Barcelona

  • Morning guided walking tour of the city center
  • Vanguard tasting menu based on local products elaborated by one of the most prestigious chefs in Catalonia inside the modernist building in Barcelona
  • Afternoon. Free leisure time and visit the city`s museums if you are found about of art
  • Hotel Casa Fuster 5* Grand Luxury Barcelona

Wine selection: Priorat & Montseny wines

Day 3: Barcelona - Discovering Gaudí

  • Morning. Gaudi walking guided tour where we will visit the most emblematic buildings of the architect
  • A unique menu designed for you, with your favourite products in a 2 Michelin starred Disfrutar restaurant in Barcelona, where the chefs themselves will show us the R+D lab and the most avant garde techniques that were created by Ferran Adria
  • Trip to Pals (1:30h)
  • A charming village route through the medieval Pals and Peretallada
  • Night at Mas Rabiol, a XVI century farmhouse experience exclusively reserved for World Travel Gourmet

Day 4 – Empordà – Sea, landscapes and medieval villages

A region with a wealth of culture and landscape, its natural boundaries are the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea, these elements make the Empordà a unique place which unites the sea and the mountain that, together with the tramontana (a norther wind), have marked the landscape, culture, gastronomy, traditional crafts and the character of the population 

  • Morning visit and tasting in anchovies artisian factory in La Escala mixed with “Glass Bread” (Pa de Vidre) with tomato and Arbequina olive oil
  • Taylor made menu based on the best Mediterranean red shrimps, one of the best seafoods in the Mediterranean Sea
  • Private tasting Empordà wine with its winemaker in a farmhouse
  • Taste dinner based on artisian Cheese and cold meat from the Bajo Emporda and La garrotxa regions
  • Night. Mas Rabiol, XVI century farmhouse  experience exclusively reserved for World Travel Gourmet.

Day 5: Cadaques – Gastronomy innovation and Salvador Dali

A corner of the Costa Brava overlooks at the sea and protects the mountains, where some of the most important avant-garde movements of the 20th century were emerged and some of the most famous artists enjoyed their gastronomic tradition such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Federico García Lorca, Luís Buñuel and Marcel Duchamp among others

  • Trip to Cap de Creus (1h)
  • Morning guided walking tour at Cap de Creus Natural Seapark and its overwhelming cliffs
  • Gourmet menu based on the best Mediterranean products where we will enjoy  Catalonian gastronomy
  • Guided visit to the Salvador Dali`s village. Cadaques
  • Tasting menu in a restaurant among vineyards awarded with one Michelin Star
  • Hotel Wine & Golf Perelada 5*

Day 6: Penedes – Land of Cavas and sparkling wines

The Penedés, embraced by magnificent beaches and surrounded by the mountains of the interior, offers a very unique landscape environment, characterized by its endless vineyards, dotted with farmhouses, unique heritage elements and multiple wineries and cellars that have gained international recognition in this area

  • Trip to Penedes (2h)
  • Morning guided visit at the Penedes region
  • Visit and cava tasting in one of the most prestigious wineries in Penedes
  • Menu in typical Catalonian firehouse where your chef will delight us with the exclusive local products
  • Afternoon walking guided visit to the coastland Sitges village where we will enjoy the amazing sea views and well known modernist buildings

Day 7 – Barcelona – Gotic neighborhood and Michelin stars

  • Brunch in the famous Gotic neighborhood in its charming alleys and impressive Cathedral
  • Morning Tarragonan Vermouth tasting and local market´s tour
  • Afternoon. Leisure time to enjoy the city or relaxing before enjoying our last gala dinner
